Pharmacosmos and the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) has launched a Joint Working project to evaluate iron deficiency anaemia (IDA) care practice for patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). It is the first collaborative project to use the UK IBD Registry as a platform for assessing clinical practice, and the aim is to improve patient outcomes by highlighting the need for improved recognition and treatment of iron deficiency anaemia.

World Kidney Day (WKD), held this year on Thursday, 14th March 2019, is an annual global awareness and education event, held on the second Thursday in March.
