The Pharmacosmos UK Marketing Team are looking for a passionate, innovative, and vibrant Brand Lead.

Our Marketing Team

Working across multiple therapeutic areas the new Brand Lead will play a pivotal role in helping to take the UK and Ireland affiliate to the next level, increasing market share and growth outcomes. We support and champion a drive for excellence; think big, start small, learn and adapt to scale up faster and better to own the space. The team guide a talented mix of cross functional employees across our business ensuring our brands continue to reach the many thousands of people burdened with iron deficiency and anaemia.

Brand Lead Role Overview

You will be joining an evolving marketing team. With the support of our Head of Marketing & Customer Engagement, you will lead and own a variety of initiatives spanning omni-channel, market access, strategy, and core marketing activities. By developing close and collaborative relations with advocates and opinion leaders, you will own the brand eco-system, anticipating and mitigating challenges whilst ensuring the teams are fully mobilised to take advantage of marketplace opportunities.

What You Will Do

Pharma marketing is changing. We want you to be part of that journey with us, ensuring our promotion and engagement is ‘outside in’ focused; you will be integral to taking insights from our customers and stakeholders, forming solutions with them, to help ease the burden across the complex systems that manage iron deficient patients. You will be able to think beyond the traditional marketing mix, ensuring our customers are at the centre of every decision we make. 

  • Develop dynamic strategic plans and a suite of promotional and engagement activities using customer insight driven analysis to deliver sales targets and brand ambition
  • Engage and activate key external customers (HCPs, payors, entire accounts, etc) through partnership working
  • Lead our cross functional Brand Team to ensure our activities are aligned to the need, make the most of the resources available to us and help reduce the burden for people suffering with ID/IDA
  • Develop, deliver, and evaluate multi-channel promotional plans, and the development of dynamic content and customer engagement that will activate customers across channels, tracking effectiveness through defined KPIs
  • Monitor sales performance, KPIs, investments and market trends to take action as required to meet sales objectives and support our overall ‘insight driven’ vision
  • Work closely with Regional Business Directors to align regional commercial team activity and engagement, proactively sharing best practise
  • Manage our key agency teams to ensure delivery of creative excellence across the business in line with budgeted operating expenses
  • Input into co-creation for HQ brand plans and tactical planning
  • Ensure the highest of standards of quality and compliance are maintained according to the latest ABPI Code of Practice/IPHA/HPRA/EFPIA and Pharmacosmos SOPs

What We Expect of You

  • Proven marketing experience within the pharmaceutical or FMCG sector
  • Experience testing new channels and optimising content to drive better results and engagement
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, and the ability to thrive in a cross-functional environment
  • Proven success in planning and execution, building and targeting customer segments, product positioning, and multi-channel marketing
  • Able to work in a nimble and ambiguous environment with multiple priorities
  • Analytical skills to assess the impact of marketing activities
  • Hands-on approach to solving problems
  • Fluent in regulatory frameworks and code of practice (ABPI /IPHA/EFPIA/MHRA)

Location and Travel

  • Head office role based in Reading but with willingness to travel for customer facing activities
  • Expectation of 2-3 days per week on average, collaborating in our fantastic office space
  • Able to travel to domestic and international scientific and internal company meetings
